Ung Arena – group show in Galleri2, Jevnaker

This summer I am participating in the exhibition “Ung Arena” at Galleri2 - a gallery run by Hadeland Glassverk and situated in Jevnaker. In this exhibition, I am showing some of the quilts that were part of the exhibition Public Interest, last seen in Gallery Seilduken.

The exhibition will be open from the 10th of may until the 5th of october

Oslo Open – 26.04-2025 (12-17)

On the 26th of April, 12-17, my studio at Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo/Oslo National Academy of the Arts, will be open for visitors. There you will find me and some of my most recent works, among others the embroideries I am making for my and my fellow students’ graduate show that will open on the 6th of June. The BKH grant for art student

On the 20:th of March I recieved the BKH (Bildende Kunstneres Hjelpefond) grant for art students. This grant is given to 35 art students in Norway each year in both Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Tromsø. The recipients are chosen through an independent jury consisting of artists who have no attachment to the schools education or its students.

Jeg husker at jeg flytta på noe

This April I am participating in the group exhibition Jeg husker at jeg flytta på noe together with Helene Skuterud, Johanne Laache, Mitra Shamloo and Tove Starfelt. The exhibition will feature artworks that adresses themes relating to memory.

Opening event: Thursday 24.4.25 at 18:00-20:00

The exhibition is open Friday 25.04.25, 15:00-17:00 and Saturday-Sunday 12:00-16:00.

Munchs Gamle Rammer/Munch's Old Frames

Some of my gouaches will be featured in the group exhibition Munchs Gamle Rammer at Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo at the end of March. The exhibition will be held in the Seilduken 2 gallery, on the 4:th floor in the building with it’s side facing Steenstrups gate.

The Munch Museum in Oslo has donated 160 frames of various sizes to the printmaking department at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, and these will be used to make an exhibition in the classic Salon-style, also known as the Petersburg Hang.
