For the exhibition Menn I Dress (13.03.2026 - 24.05.2026), Cathrine Hovdalh Vik wrote a text contextualising how the the suited man in the exhibition is used as a concept to reflect on gender norms and other social contructs, and the underlying meaning behind making portraits of the figure using traditional textile techniques.
